Jukebox broken after update to 4.7beta2

I have just updated to 4.7beta2 from 4.6, but it has not gone well.
(upgraded using dpkg -i subsonic-4.7beta2.deb)

Server is running OK, but dukebox and web interface do not play any sound. Only Android app can make sound localy, but no dukebox on anything.

I'm thinking that I will have to dpkg remove subsonic and then apt-get the 4.6 version back. Will I loose all settings in this process?

Any advice?

-web-Client Firefox 13.0.1 on Windows 7 32bit-
Music does not play, a frame with VLC symbol is shown, but no sound and Play, seek controls do nothing.

-Android client-
Local play works, but RC (Dukebox) does not work.
No sound, Play button inactive.

Sunsonic server running on Debian6
2.6.32-5-686 #
Version 4.7.beta2 (build 3011) – June 8, 2012
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_18, Linux (66.5 MB / 113.2 MB)

UPDATE:

Ive found that the upgrade did not totaly break playback, just for some users.
I logged in as admin and found that I can play music under that login.

I tried deleting all players associated with non-functioning users, in the hope that they would be recreated, but no luck.

So admin is OK, but some users cannot play dukebox, nor in web interface.

Im still with 4.7bta2, but puzzled whay not all logins work.

Have you enabled jukebox for those users - settings/users?

yes all users have dukebox ticked, and have used dukebox in the past under v4.6

I seem to be having a similar issue. Jukebox will not play from the browser of another computer, but plays on the host computer.

Tried on a mac and another PC. It shows the playlist and the song currently playing. I can even get the sound to work when not in jukebox mode.

I logged in as Admin and make sure the Player associated with the user had the rights to use jukebox mode.

My minimum goal is to build a playlist that will play simultaneously on two sets of speakers in two different rooms and be able to adjust the playlist as desired. I have a couple laptops and an android gingerbread phone for output devices. I do not believe the version of android has an app with jukebox capabilities so I am running with the laptop idea for now.

Version 4.7 (build 3106) – September 12, 2012
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_27, Windows 7 (52.3 MB / 92.2 MB)

Any advice is appreciated!
