Hello.

I have downloadet and installet Tomcat and Subsonic on my pc.

During setup of tomcat i those to use port 80.

when i go to http://*my local ip*/subsonic - the program works fine.

I have then portforwardet port 80 thrue the wireless router and the modem. When i do a portscan, port 80 is accesable to my pc from the internet. But i can not connect to tomcat/subsonic from other pc´s. Not from the internet or from the lokal wireless lan.... When i try to connect from the internet i use the ip that my pc gets from www.myip.dk (I´m from denmark) and when i test from my wireless lan i use the ip i have on my local network. Nothing works... I can only use subsonic on the pc that it is installed on...

What shall i do to get access from the internet or local network???

Please help.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Jacob.

Hi,
Sounds like a firewall issue. Are you running Windows Firewall (or another firewall) on the Subsonic server? If so, try to turn it off and see if it works. It that works, you need to configure the firewall so that traffic to port 80 is allowed.

Hope this helps,
Sindre

It could also be that your ISP is blocking incoming port 80(http).
