Yep we have a number of posts regarding failed upgrades.
1st thing I would try is to delete the jetty cache.

I can't help much apart from saying there appears to a number of different issues resulting in upgrading.
Gary's suggestion (see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9686&start=90#p42753) is to do a clean install.
I upgraded my whs r1 server and didn't get any errors but certain things didn't work :(
e.g. Playlists would not import and 5 min "hang" every time I hit the top rated button (only got 30 albums with ratings)
So I reverted back to 4.6
My test server with 4.7b2 was a clean install on a different pc and does not have the issues above.
However the issues it does have are even worse - read the rest of that thread

I worked out whats broken on it, seems to be the db that's totally had it...
So it looks like it's time to give up and start again from the beginning....
That sucks big time!!!
Going to take for ever to add all the users again
All the data lost... gutted...

See if your subsonic.script file is still intact - that's where all the users, passwords etc are stored.
If you move that somewhere safe - re-install - then pop it back (stop & starting SS as appropriate)
you may be lucky.

I had this same error. Finally, i was able to recover by simply deleting the db backup file in c:\subsonic\db. Not even reinstalling. Just restarting after that.

Any luck on fixing this?

I'd hate to have to set this up all over again, especially adding all users and so on, but it seems like the subsonic.script file is intact. I've made a copy of it, guess I'll try doing a clean install. Having albums sorted by year rather than name is something I've wanted since I first started using subsonic.

When you get HTTP ERROR 503, please check the log file c:/program files/subsonic/logs/subsonic-service.log for details.

Not sure why the database get corrupt. Did it happen the very first time you started 4.7?

Sindre
