Apple Lossless Playback - Subsonic 4.7b2

Postby timmyj » Fri Jun 29, 2012 9:13 am

Recently started playing around with Subsonic and have it working quite well (on a microserver running solaris 11). A significant portion of my library is encoded in Apple Lossless (e.g. dled in FLAC but converted so as to maintain compatibility with iPhone/iPod) I can't get playback to work of these particular files through the web player. They are all VBR around ~1000kbps.
It encodes successfully, I tried from command line and it works fine, and the web player loads the file duration correctly but when I click play nothing happens, there is also nothing in the logs to suggest any errors have been returned from ffmpeg.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

What version of ffmpeg are you using? Is it the one that comes bundled with SS?
This seems very similar to the problems I got with wma lossless using the latest zeronoe build.

Jukebox worked fine but no sound using webplayer :?
