Hello !

I actually using Subsonic on a dedicated server based on Debian.

But since a few days, it seems that java use lots of CPU (between 50 et 70 %). Is it normal ?

Is there any solution to bring the CPU usage of java and subsonic to less than 50 % ?

I'm on the same distrib as you.

On my "top" i got :

Cpu(s): 34.2%us, 64.7%sy,

Perhaps there is an upgrade of java recently ... I cant remember

I'm on 4.6 and i try the 4.7 beta 2 and no change.

Which version of java do you use ?

Code: Select all
abraxus@dagobah:~$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8.13) (6b18-1.8.13-0+squeeze1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)
abraxus@dagobah:~$

I have exact the same java version.

No, i do not think there was an java update.

My top seems the same:

"Cpu(s): 32.7%us, 66.2%sy,"

Some1 else with the problem?
