Hi all,
Recently the Top rated, Most played and Recently played features are broken.

Server specs:
Version 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_33, Windows 7 (171.5 MB / 732.9 MB)

Top rated error:
Code: Select all
StatementCallback; SQL [select path from user_rating where exists (select 1 from music_file_info where user_rating.path = music_file_info.path and enabled=true) group by path order by avg(rating) desc limit 10 offset 0]; out of memory; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: out of memory

The out of memory statement is a bit strange as the server has plenty of memory available, via db.view all tables are accessible except the 'music_file_info' table that one returns an out of memory error. But when I open a folder it still displays the last time played and the rating for that specific folder.

Hope someone can assist, don't want to lose the ratings and most played details.

How much memory have you allocated to SS (Control Panel - settings)?
If its at the default 100Mb, increase it to 256Mb

Thanks for your reply BKKKPewsey, the service had 300mb allocated in the control settings when this error first appeared, it now has 800mb and still no luck.

Yep I guessed as much looking at the server specs you posted - was just checking
It sounds as if that table has got corrupted somehow :(
Not sure how you can fix it if you cannot open it but perhaps some of our sql/HSQL gurus may have an idea

solved; SSD that was hosting the database was faulty, issue had nothing to do with Subsonic. resolved by swapping harddrive and restoring an backup.
