Subsonic Forum

In previous versions you could label video files in a folder as such:

Show>Season> 01-Episode1, 02-Episode2, ...

Subsonic would strip the 01, 02, ... but adhere to the order. Now the numbers are stripped and the files are alphabetized. Is this intended?

I know Sindre intends to allow the disabling of year sorting in 4.7 which may put that functionality back.
However that will effect all folders including music.
As many video files do not have "tags" it would be better to use year if available and revert back to 4.6 type alphabetical sort if not.
But I can also see that could start getting messy
