Can't reach the Web server

Hi there!

I have a virtual private server running Debian, and I tried to install Subsonic 4.6 then 4.7 beta 2 following the simple documentation.

It installs fine but I can't reach the web page, not even from the shell with w3m.

I don't know where to look to understand what's wrong, any idea?

Thanks! :-)

List the running processes and check if the Java/Subsonic process is running. If not, start it 8)
If it is, confirm if you are trying to connect to the subsonic port in your browser.

Thank you but I had checked all this already.

"ps x" gives this result:
Code: Select all
19444 ?        Sl     0:02 java -Xmx100m -Dsubsonic.home=/var/subsonic -Dsubsonic.host=0.0.0.0 -Dsubsonic.port=4040 -Dsubsonic.httpsPort=0 -Dsubsonic.contextPath=/ -Dsubsonic.defaultMusicFolder=/var/music -Dsubsonic.defaultPodcastFolder=/var/music/Podcast -Dsubsonic.defaultPlaylistFolder=/var/playlists -Djava.awt.headless=true -verbose:gc -jar subsonic-booter-jar-with-dependencies.jar

And I'm trying to access the server using "w3m http://localhost:4040"

I tried changing port too.
