Chose which section of Home Screen is shown

If I've missed a way to set this, I apologize (and please point me in the right direction!)

I'd like to be able to choose which section of the Home screen comes up when I log in. It defaults to Random, which I never use. I'd prefer Newest, personally, but the ability to set that on a per-user basis would be great.
