the problem seems to be filename encoding on linux systems. This being said, other linux tools seem to correct automatically, and it would be nice if subsonic handled this a little better

I know international characters has been mentioned before, but I think Asian characters deserve their own thread. Most of the languages previously mentioned are latin-based, so titles can be easily converted to a standard format (without losing meaning) or simply fixed by changing the LANG variable. This is not the case for Asian characters.
I have tons of music in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Most of it is in the format: "<original characters> (<romanization>)" so the folders do not even show in subsonic.

Now i don't expect perfect support, perhaps just listing them all after z in some order.... (I don't expect 이승환 (Lee Seung-Hwan) to be in the L's lol)
