Omit directories from music folders

On my Linux box, I have a /mp3 file system which contains various subdirs including Artists, Humor, Collections, lost+found etc. What I would like to do is be able to specify a list of directories NOT to display under the main one.

Things don't look right and now how I want them if I add each one individually such as /mp3/Artists /mp3/Classical etc.

I cam to make a similar request, but more pertaining to video directories. Would it be at all possible to separate 'flagged' folders from the default "Home" and "Recently Added" pages. I love subsonic's ability to do video, but as it was originally intended for music, the random video folders popping up make the experience feel less 'stream-lined' if you will.

I +1 your request there. If you're listening to music, you don't want a video popping up...especially if it's a porn one lol
