that would definitely work if I had a modded original Xbox. or I ran a xmbc media server.

I was thinking something along the lines of a native subsonic "app" such as the current Netfix, lastFM, ect...

A better option would be to use one of the 360 media streaming solutions. For Mac, I use Connect360 to stream my entire library over to my 360.

The benefit here is that you have access to your songs just about anywhere, rather then only while in a subsonic app.
