Smarter FileUtil

Postby Kirk » Tue Nov 16, 2010 10:32 pm

One thing that's been bugging me lately, is sometimes when I rename a folder, I get a log flooded with errors, like
Code: Select all
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album
WARN   FileUtil   Failed to list children for /home/music/Artist/Album

And I think one warning would be sufficient. Surely you could make FileUtil stop looking for the folder after it already errored a few times.

I'm not talking 5-10 times like I show above. I mean for an hour or two it errors every few seconds...

Keep up the great work! Lovin' the new album art utility and search index in the beta!

Cheers,
Kirk

I know this is old, but I just had this same issue and I'd like to post how I fixed this.

I logged into the server I had SubSonic installed on and restarted the program. specifically:
Code: Select all
sudo service subsonic start

I hope this helps any future subsonic users.
