Reading APE V2 tags

I know i'm a newbie here, but it looks like i do have the same request than a lot of other experienced long time users of Subsonic. I'm using monkey's audio since several years now and e.g.ffmpeg fully supports it since 2009.

Several posts in the "help" topic as well as some posts in the "Feature request" topic are about APE or mokey's audio.

I'm not a programer, but i would believe, that the cue sheets problems and the "No Reader associated to this extension: ape" problem could be solved with one step. And it looks that a growing number of people is using this format and of what i heard some hardware vendors are going to supprt ape in next releases of their hardware players.

Please: can some implement APE support in Subsonic. Subsonic is a real cool music server and adding this feature would make it even better. If i can help, i promise to do my very best. But as already mentioned, i am no programer.

Thank's
Dip
