An option to add a song after the currently playing one, meaning it will play next but you keep the rest of the playlist intact.

I would not mind if it's added to the current playlist in the proces.

I came here today to request this exact feature. I noticed it when I set up a Sonos system recently. It's incredibly useful.

I agree completely... I hate when I add a new song to my playlist and it ends up at the bottom. It would be great to have it come in after the song you're currently playing - maybe go to the bottom if you're not playing anything yet. I actually think this should be the default functionality when adding songs to a playlist, perhaps...

Playlist on the go

Postby asaphe » Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:09 pm

Hey,

Love "Subsonic" But...

I would love to have the option of creating a playlist on the go.
Example: now when I press play the song is automatically the first on my playlist, when I press a different song it changes that one song it doesn't add to the playlist.

So If I want to make a playlist in Subsonic I have to know all the songs I want to put in the playlist in advance and if I accidently press on another song I lose the playlist I have so far.
So make the playlist at the bottom beneath the player independent so I can add songs to it dynamically instead of having it change to whatever I'm listening right now and deleting everything there.

If you search the forum something like this has been discussed before but if you use the + option it will add that song to the current playlist without interrupting playback.
What I would like is some form of preview function e.g. play selected song now but leave playlist as is.
If I have selected the correct track I can add to playlist as usual.
Sorry if I may have hijacked this thread :|
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

+1 :) that's it!
I wish to be able to hear another track while still forming my playlist in order to see if that's the one I want and than add it to the playlist!
