The date format follows the selected locale.

For instance, with English locale the dates are formatted like:
1/25/09 or January 25, 2009

With Norwegian locale it becomes:
25.01.09 or 25. januar 2009

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought English uses MM/DD, not DD/MM?

I believe North America is the only place that uses MM/DD. Of course thats the way I prefer it :D

Ah, yes you're right.

I'll add locales that are specific to US and UK, so that the date format is correct in both cases.

Thanks!
