Play to Apple Airplay devices in Jukebox mode

I know Airplay has been suggested a few times before in various forms. I'm thinking it would be nice to have subsonic in Jukebox mode and stream out to Apple airport express devices. During a party I could dot one or two of these around and use the Android app to control Subsonic. There look to be plenty of Java implementations of Airplay (qtunes comes to mind). I'm currently fiddling around with Pulse audio and ROAP to get something like this going but not having much luck, it's probably just neater doing it all in Java. I wouldn't mind donating a device for development or some money to get this feature into Subsonic.
