Amazon affiliate link intergration

Postby nunya » Thu Dec 29, 2011 6:36 pm

I make 5-10 bucks a month off of amazon referral links on a separate site not much but it pays for the hosting was wondering if there was an easy way to integrate into subsonic so a user has option to support an artist or movie a link for amazon would appear and in a perfect world insert amazon affiliate id....

just a thought happy holidays and happy new year

I don't like this... it seems like it would be the start of clogging up the UI with CLICK HERE FOR MONIES and ads..

This also doesn't make sense... if you already have the content from the movie or artist.. why would you click on an amazon link to the movie/artist?

Simple as a button with an "A" on it don't think it would clutter.

I know most aren't like me but If I do enjoy something I support it. I won't always go to a theater but if I think its a good movie & I've downloaded it I will purchase a ticket online but most likely won't go, same with cds, tv shows, or dvds if I like & enjoy it Ill buy a copy to support the creator.

The main reason i hoard a lot of content is it will save my kids from having to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars thruout their lifetime and their kids & their kids etc. no reason for the family to buy the same movies book or cd over & over & over again..... gotta start that "old" money someway and every little bit helps I know if i add up all the money I spend on cassettes, vhs, then cds, dvds over my lifetime (others lps, laser discs, 8 tracks....) it's easily a college education these days & i'm not a fan if I bought it i should pay for it in every format every time i view it, i feel once i bought it I own it.
