Mobile skin / Mode

Postby cybermonk » Sat May 16, 2009 10:11 pm

Since the introduction of the jukebox, i think to top off its functionality to have a skin or additional interface for mobile devices like cell phones, pdas, and the PSP.

I have tried that and I receive a 404 error. I have reinstalled and everything. Maybe its because I am running the newest beta

Sounds like you're not running on /subsonic like me. just go to http://server/wap drop the /subsonic part.

Tried it also

I did that also and it prompts me to download a file. (wap.wml). Does this for my PC, PSP, and LG Voyager. Any other thoughts?

wml is the language its written in, like html, but for wap. sounds like it could be some configuration issues on the browsers I would guess. what browser are you using? IE, Safari? Those are notorious for not reading filetypes right, or working well with wap. I can access the WAP just fine with Opera, but IE7 asks me to download a file called "wap". So you probably want to try a different browser or check your configuration for filetype settings.
