might be somewhere else already, but have to complain about it (again).

first of all, don't wanna miss out on it, thx a million for a generally good software!!!! it is most of the time great.

here my two issues with it, not much changed since upgrading to 4.7.

1 - once you add 'new' stuff, it just doesn't show up as new stuff... it appears (sometimes) way back, when you d/led the stuff/ first ripped it to 'whatever' computer. it's just not cool. it shouldn't list 'newly added files' based on some 'weird' dates they ended up with you one way or the other.... when you update your db it should list everything added to this point chronologically as it was added to ss! everything before is water down the river....

2 - is still my old issue of searching my db by genre! if it is poss to do that for playlists etc..., why the h**l can't i do it generally? it can't be so big an issue!?
it is obviously in the database to be searched. i don't want to install all kind of crappy (and some good) mods, hacks, etc. to get basic functionality!!!
if i could write code, i would do it myself. just going back to an old example (the good old kplaylist software), aba was able to add that into ,the going software at the time within a day or two! it seems to be all there here as well, what is the prob to make a search tool allowing for any and all of it (artist, album, title, genre....)?

i am looking this days at over 600k files, hard to track sth down without proper tools!!!
otherwise a big thumbs up!!!! it is stable and handles this amount of files just fine with reasonable short search times. so it seems all on the right track with a decent gui.

anyway, thx for all the work sofar and maybe we get some search improvements in the near future!?
