Keep Shortcuts in list

I love the shortcut feature and have a handful of directories that I use to quickly access without having to scroll all the way down in my artist lists.
Unfortunately, apparently the API has no way of calling those shortcuts?

I use MyMusicToMe to access my Subsonic on my Sonos system and circumvent their ridiculously low library size limit.

Unfortunately it is an either/or situation right now: I can either keep my Subsonic shortcuts OR not have access to the shortcuts or eliminate my shortcuts (making Subsonic not as convenient) and be able to access all my directories.

Would keeping the shortcut items in the list of artists solve the problem?
