Fred,

Your solution for using Winamp calculated replay gain via Subsonic is great, however my mp3 files that at various bitrates from 160kbps-320kbps are all being re-encoded at 128kbps. I was able to change the ffmpeg command to force them to stream at 320, which is OK. Ideally, I would configure it to honor the original file bitrate like Subsonic normally does w/o your replay gain method in place. Can you assist?

Hmm, that's what the -ab %2 was supposed to do. Maybe -b:a %2k instead? I don't think I've had that trouble.

DSub for Android now supports the replaygain tag natively. I for one am disabling transcoding altogether at applying the gain at time of playing as it's meant to be (at least for my phone, which is half my listening).
