Random albums folder depth

Postby picopunky » Sat Aug 01, 2009 10:51 am

Hi everybody,

First of all, my sincere congratulations to Sindre and whoever collaborates with him for this fantastic software. Seriously, it really surprised me the easy of installation, configuration and use of the soft. Really good job!

My little suggestion is more esthetical than technical. I'll explain:
I have the music folder organized in subfolders with the name of the artist, then I have subfolders with the year-name of the album. Each of these album folders has a cover associated. The "problem" is that an album folder contains more subfolders if the album has more than one cd (CD1, CD2...) but these folders haven't a cover associated and they also appear at the random page without a cover picture.

Perhaps there's a way of configuring it that I missed up, but if not, It would be great to have the possibility to adjust the folder depth for the random home page so they not appear the subfolders named CD1, CD2.. etc, that have no cover associated.

This not an important detail but it's a little contribution to make this excellent soft even better.

Thank you.

I've experienced the same thing with a couple of albums I have. Though I do agree that any way subsonic could automatically fix this for us would be great, having the same cover art on both cd1 and cd2 is a sufficient work-around which makes me forget the issue :)
Currently without Subsonic due to hardware failure :(
