Playlist Exporter

Would be nice to simply hit an "Export Playlist" button and have Subsonic save an m3u on your computer so other media servers/players could see it.

There's an export option on all playlists. However, it lists the files relative to the Subsonic Music Folders, not their absolute file positions. Such an absolute is unreliable since different boxes may mount external drives in different places. Its real function is for backups and to do basic sorting, or migration of playlists to a new box that happens to have the same configured folder structure.

The feature you're looking for I think is more the external player feature. Configure one of those in your setup, make it your current, then each time you hit 'play' it'll fire off an m3u file that you can open in any client that supports that kind of streaming (winamp and vlc both do).
