Recently played versus downloaded

Not sure if this is an issue for Subsonic server or DSub client.

When I tell DSub to cache an artist on my phone and have it download all the albums, like new albums I've never played, Subsonic reports all those albums under recently played. But they haven't actually been played, just downloaded and cached.

There should be a way to make a distinction between downloading a song and playing it.

I have asked before and never gotten a response unfortunately. If there is ever a way to mark downloads as not plays I will of course add support for it to DSub.
