I request that a Windows build for 64-bit Java is created and released as part regular Subsonic release cycle.
In the past I understand why building against the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Java was a hassle and maybe even prone to user misunderstandings/bugs/dependency support issues/etc. However, I really hate having multiple Java runtimes on my system unnecessarily. All the other Java based solution's that I use on my server have in the last decade switched completely to or at least offer a 64-bit build. I like Subsonic because I think it's the best in class solution for personal music streaming, but going forward, I will not install 32-bit Java just for Subsonic.
I've read that we can use 64-bit Java Tomcat with the Subsonic WAR file. While this may be a solution, it's more work than I'm willing to do to get a working installation.
