SciNAS Virtualbox Appliance

Postby Betzalel » Tue Nov 21, 2017 4:38 pm

Hello,
i know this is a feature request, but thought i would post this here. i have recently created a Virtual-box template / appliance of a NAS server based on Scientific Linux. i have installed the default version of SubSonic on it in order to use the NAS storage to host videos and music. i have tightened down the VM up to NSA standards. i was wondering if anyone would be interested in receiving a free copy of the template. NOTE: scientific Linux is basically Redhat Enterprise Linux, and is a free OS. i have set it up with 5 virtual drives that expand up to 2 terabytes each. also note that for the premium services you will need to get a license from subsonic for that. let me know if anyone would be interested in getting a copy for free.

Can you explain the disk expansion part. Wouldn't that require a specific hypervisor? I am interested.
