Office 365 App

Postby alvaro.llobet » Tue May 09, 2017 3:30 pm

We're moving all our files to Office 365 in order to shutdown all our file servers. All except the Subsonic Server.
It will be awesome if your team creates an Office 365 App that could read the files directly from Sharepoint and stream it to the user.
I was looking for something like that in Office 365 store and there is nothing.
I'm sure lots of company/users will pay for this.
If anyone can do something like this, is the Subsonic Team.
Many thanks

I really like this idea. I use PLEX for my movie collection because I really like their interface and management for movies. But there is no beating Subsonic for my music collection. PLEX recently released their "PLEX Cloud" which allows you to connect into your cloud storage provider (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox...etc) instead of only having an on-premise server. Since I have moved all of my media to OneDrive, it would be great to be able to connect into that with Subsonic also.

I realize this is an old thread, however I wanted to resurrect it. Plex recently gave up on the "Plex Cloud" unfortunately. I am trying to find a way to stream files from a cloud based server, live G-drive, OneDrive, or something similar. I'd like to be able to stream my music collection from a cloud based server instead of having to leave my home computer on all the time. Has anyone found a solution like this? Subsonic or otherwise?

Yes being able to link to cloud music storage would be awesome. I support this idea
