Selectable system player for jukebox mode

I love this software. It has really made it simple to host, stream, and organize my music collection.

The problem is that I would like the ability to run an equalizer on my system for jukebox mode. Since Java is interacting with the soundcard directly, it can't utilize the software equalizer programs that are available. If we could use a native player, something like mpg123 or mplayer etc. then that would alleviate the problem. For jukebox mode I don't need scrubbing/seeking functionality. I would just like to be able to start and stop the track as necessary.

To be able to choose the player based on file extension would be a plus.

Additionally, it could eliminate those annoying clicks between tracks while in jukebox mode.
