Welcome message

Would it be possible to have a multi-line Welcome Message please? Currently a lengthy message extends off the page and is only single line. I have a number of pieces of information I wish people to see and enabling a multi-line message would be very helpful.

Good thinking mw, <br/> works.
Expanding on this, perhaps a 'Message of the Day' could be separate from the 'Welcome Message'. The latter is represented in that chunky font and it's purpose seems to be a short site subtitle. A 'Message of the Day' could be framed separately below this and represented in a smaller text such as used for Comments for an album, and have a multi line box for editing. Putting lots of text in the current Welcome Message is not pretty.
