Scan media folders - more often than once in a day

I would appreciate the option to scan the media folders more often eg... every 2 hours.

I do not see why there is such a constraint and the fastest interval is one day. Usually, when I add the music, I want to listen it on my phone immediately, or after a short time. The only option is to have admin rights and run the scan manually...

I've noticed that if I do a manual refresh on my phone it generally starts a scan and the songs are available a little while later.
