I was recently informed by the maker of iSub that there is no API call for refreshing media folders.
I think that this would be great, as the once per 24 hours limit can be a little limiting.

I don't get why people keep saying that. When I add songs to my server then refresh it will show up a a few seconds later when I refresh again after it gets done looking for new files. Is it just a Linux thing that subsonic is able to tell that there were file changes without an explicit full scan?

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgr ... KbK0G6M8PMdaneren2005, are you using 4.6 or 4.7 (or something completely different)?

Just the standard 4.7 but I'm pretty sure it acted the same on 4.6 when I was using it.

I would also love to have this. I use iSub and the only way I can refresh the folder list is in the web UI.

Ja so that you can auto force subsonic Tod update the library when another program wants to that would be great
