different port number for download & streaming, or QOS

Alternatively I'd love to see an option build in to prioritize streaming higher than downloading.

I moved places, and now my internet upload (and download) is WAY lower than it used to be. So everything must be cranked through this tiny network connection.
I managed to shape most of my common traffic through my routers QOS so my everyday internet experience doesn't become too crippled.
The problem I'm experiencing: if people are playing music and at the same time someone starts to download a track or album, the bandwidth is equally assigned to both tasks.
Because of limited bandwidth, their playback could get choppy.
If downloads could be directed through a different port I can easily prioritize the playback above downloading.
Another way to address the issue would be to have Subsonic prioritize the playback before download tasks within a given maximum (overall) bandwidth.
