Subsonic Forum

Hi, I was thinking of adding a section to my personal website for the music I enjoy. Instead of listing out some of my favorite artist, it would be nice to use subsonic. Everything is already organized and searchable. But I don't want random people steaming off my internet connection.

I was thinking if there was a button on the login page for guests to click (of course an option to make the button visible). This would remove the bottom panel and the user could not stream music. Only be able to browse the collection. What do you think?

Good news, kapz - the next version will support this.

There will be a new authorization role "User is allowed to play files", so you can create a guest user and disable this role, which should give you the functionality you request.
