Support for alpha characters in FLAC "Track Name" tags

I received some FLAC files that were ripped from vinyl, and MediaInfo identifies them like this. Subsonic doesn't recognize this, and plays them in what seems to be random order. Until now, I've never seen alpha characters in the track name tag, but would it be possible to use the alphanumeric track numbers embedded in the files?
