Is it possible to add arm (gnash-lightspark) support?

Postby Tokka » Wed Jul 17, 2013 7:06 pm

Hi, small pc with arm cpu seem to have some trouble to run subsonic, or better, to play movies, because libflashpalyer is not aviable for this kind of cpu, and gnash (or when it's possible, lightspark..but not with all linux distro) is not recognized.
From the lan is only possible to play audio file (with a pc which has flashplayer installed), so i don't know if it may depend by ffmpeg (i tried to recompile it, but same result), or by the transcode.
To run vlc, in my case, i have to use this command line: "cvlc --demux ffmpeg --codec cedar --vout cedarfb --no-osd" due to cedar lib used by the video card.
Could i use a similar line to transcode output video signal? if yes, how can i instert that?
Edit remote transcode now works, at the moment only for mp4...i will search into the forum how i have to change transcod for play avi files

Thanks in advance
Tokka
