Browse artists using alphalist

I'd really like to be able to browse by first letter of artist name. In the left pane for instance, I'd rather be able to click A, and jump to a view of all the artists with a name beginning with A. Is there any easy way to accomplish this?

I should clarify my situation (And my request). My music collection uses the following hierarchy: Genre/Artist/Album/Disc. Really what I want is more control over music folder organization. As it is now, the left.view will display each of my Genres, and there is no way for me to jump to a page with artists beginning with letter "A", for instance. I prefer having some sort of genre-level view available. But I'd still like to be able to click A, and view artists that begin with that letter. In addition it'd be nice if you could specify the "type" to be indexed per page. Using the Genre/Artist/Album/Disc hierarchy for instance, I would expect at the Genre level to only display thumbnails from the artist level, at the artist level, I'd expect that I'd only see thumbs for the actual albums, not thumbs for the discs them selves. And at the Album level, I'd expect for a multiple-disc album to either display all tracks at once (preferable), or somehow treat each disc as part of said album, and not it's own seperate entity.

That said, for my purposes, if I just add each genre-level folder as a folder in subsonic's properties I just need to know how to link to a specific alpha character or folder container and I think I'll be good to go.
