Android SSL with Apache mod_jk and Tomcat

Postby djaevla » Mon Nov 18, 2013 10:18 am

hello,

I have Android 4.1.2 and the actual subsonci client installed. On the server-side I have an ubuntu-server 12.04 with tomcat 6 and apache2 connected through mod_jk. All connections use SSL, self-signed with own CA. The WebUI works well.

So the problem is to connect from Android Subsonic to the subsonic server through apache (port 443, SSL), without any specific error message. If I connect direct to the tomcat 6 subsonic server (port 8443, SSL) it worked. Is there any hint to solve the problem or can this be implemented? BTW, other applications can connect to the tomcat apps through apache (e.g. Alfresco).

Thanks for any help,
djaevla
