I use subsonic and i must say its a wonderful thing .

One feature that would be nice would be to mark certain folders as age restricted and to set users with ages so they can not access certain things.

As I have a single directory with many sub folders which include adult comedy, it would be nice to be able to restrict access to our lad and his mates. At the moment I can't do this without removing the subfolder and lossing all access over the network...

Perhaps one day????

This is somewhat similar to a previous feature request about making it possible to specify which users are allowed to access which music folders (as configured in Settings > Music folders).

Would that be a good-enough solution for your need, you think?

I see this is old, but this is exactly what I need as well. Is this something that may possibly be implemented in the near future?

if not age restrictions at least another user level we can set to see restricted content or not.
I like the way we can remove the links we don't want showing by checking account level first... could work very similar im thinking.
