Yep, subsonic didnt read my utf-8 m3u playlist file properly. below is a portion of the m3u file i have that was saved with mediamonkey ( their weblinks was how i found out about subsonic btw)
Code: Select all
#EXTINF:205,Spiderbait - Black Betty
..\Music Artist\Spiderbait\Greatest Hits\02 - Black Betty.mp3
#EXTINFUTF8:274,庾澄慶 - 情非得已
#EXTINF:274,??? - ????
#UTF8:..\Chinese Music\Contemporary Artist\庾澄慶\07 情非得已.mp3
..\Chinese Music\Contemporary Artist\???\07 ????.mp3
#EXTINF:210,The Cranberries - Stars

Then for webplayer, i had to click on reload each time i update a song to it. would be nice if the player is static (so that the music keeps playing) but the playlist use xml-dom to update itself. :)[/code]

My bad! Subsonic does support UTF-8 playlist. Its just that the "???-??? " characters threw the playlist off and subsonic sees the entire playlist as invalid.
