On-The-Go Playlists

My old iPod used to have a great feature that would add the currently playing song to the "on-the-go playlist" with one or two clicks; this was great if you were listening to a long playlist or folder and wanted to remember a few key songs (or if you were listening to a new album and wanted to save only a few favorite songs).

1. Is there a way in the latest DSub release to add the currently playing song to either a particular playlist or a generic OTG playlist (for an example, see Neutron Player, which allows you to update multiple playlists at once).
2. If not, would you consider adding such functionality?

Thanks!

If you want to add it to a specific playlist, you need to expand the now playing screen to show all of the songs. Click the pin icon to the right for the song that is currently playing, and a option to Add to Playlist shows up. You can use that to either add to an existing playlist or a new playlist. What I think you are looking for though is the star functionality. Next to the RC/Bookmark/EQ/etc bar when you have the album art displayed is a little star. If you don't see it try clicking on the screen (I usually click the album art) to make it pop up as it dissapears when inactive. Click it and it will add a star to the song. Back on the home screen one of the options is Starred, which should have a list of all of the songs that you starred previously. I use this to manage my "on the go" playlist, as you put it. I just use a starred list for any songs that stand out to me and I want to go back and add it to a specific playlist later.
