Support for Multiple Genres per Song

I use Media Monkey to manage my music collection and one of the features I really like being able to categorize a song within multiple genres. So for instance, I may categorize AC/DC - Back in Black as Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal. Then when I want to listen to the Classic Rock genre, the song shows up there. But when I want to listen to the Metal genre, it shows up there also.

Currently, the genre for the song appears in Subsonic as:

Classic Rock;Hard Rock;Metal --- which Subsonic considers a unique genre.

It would be nice in the settings if you could select the option to "separate genres by delimiter". In my case, I would add ; as my genre delimiter and then my genres would show and play in Subsonic correctly. I see this as similar to Excel when you import a comma delimited file and select the delimiter.

+1 - I have exactly the same problem, and I use MediaMonkey too ;-) Would love to be able to specify a separator in the genre field so that the songs would be tagged with all of them individually, instead of a unique genre. For instance, right now I have a load of files that are "Audiobook;Childrens" and some that are "Childrens;Audiobook" ... quite frustrating.

Of course this is an obvious feature, and most useful for Genre. However it really should be more general purpose and allow, for instance, multiple artists.

But I still just want to be able to navigate from:
genre -> artist -> album -> song

yes, please add one more request for multiple genre support.

One more victim, in the seemingly eternal struggle to properly categorize music.

New to Subsonic, but I love this project. Supporting multiple genres is key, though, as I have many songs and people in my family search for things in different ways. Yeah, I too use MediaMonkey which is great for categorization, but fails in the server client category and only runs on windoze. Multiple genres could make this the best of both worlds.
