[APP] 3 simple thing the official app is missing/broken
Posted: Fri May 23, 2014 7:27 pmLet me first start by saying I was a donator well before the service went paid and always tell people to buy/use Subsonic. That being said, I have 3 "gripes" with the app that I feel should be trivial fixes. They are listed in my order of importance.
1. Lock screen controls. I know that it didn't t make sense in the past since a lot pf phones couldn't use the feature. But things have changes and the app needs to change with the times. I don't think I have a single other music/podcast/audiobook app that doesn't have this feature.
2. The audio doesn't pause when Google Maps gives voice directions. I know it can do it since when I get a phone call, Subsonic pauses then resumes after the call, but not when the Google girl tells me to get off the highway.
I can't count how many times I've missed my turn because I got my music jammin and it drowns out the GPS directions. Again, all the music/podcast/audiobook players I use have this feature as well.
3. This one is more a little annoyance, but lists look better in threes.
While I'm playing a song and another song gets done buffering/downloading the current song I'm listening to pauses for about a half a second or so. Like a glitch in he song or something, but it only happens when the next buffering song gets done downloading.
Again, thank you for such a great product and even with these issues, it's still my favorite app. But pleeaseee fix these.
P.S. I'm sorry if these fixes have already been requested. I just want this server/app to be the best possible product on the market.
