Albumart in the upper levels of the library

Hello,

I have organized my music like this:

Root
\A
\Abba
\Album 1
\Album 2
\AC-DC
\...
\B
\Bravo

I added the Root directory to the sources and get all the single characters on the left pane, which is good.
But when I select one of the upper levels of the structure I only get all the artists of the character (e.g. J) without any album art.
This picture illustrates it Image.

It would be great if you could add either the first AlbumArt in this branch or a mixed one of all albums of the artist, like the one for the playlists.
And instead of repeating the name three times in the field (see picture), it would be great to have some stats here (number of albums, song, duration etc.)

Many thanks

Clas

I think it used to work as you describe in an earlier version. I may be wrong.

I have 5.1beta1 and it behaves as in the screenshort and I'm sure that previously it used to pick-up Cover Art from the directories above as well.

Happy to be proved wrong.

To achieve this you must put a cover.jpg in the \A \B ... \Z directories. AND you must put a "dummy" audio file in that directory.

Yes i have the same problem with double albums. I vote for this feature!! Using a dummy audio file with folder/cover.jpg will work but looks stupid.
