I know this request won't be easy to implement but if it can be done then Subsonic will be taken into a next level.

Today I realised that using Teamviewer my computer can be wake from sleep but also from power off state switche from another computer
The way teamviewer do it is as it follows:
1-Create a team viewer account (its free)
2-On my pc I open teamviwer, login to my teamviwer account, go to settings and add the ID of the 2nd pc that will wake up my computer. Switch off my pc
2-On the 2nd pc (the one that will wake up my pc), login to my teamviewer account, go to settings and select my offline pc and click on wake up
Magic happened

With subsonic we have the subsonic server running in the pc and the client running on the android phone.
I thought that maybe it should be possible to use the same method than teamviewer so once we ope the android app of Subsonic it wakes the computer.

I guess it is possible? But is it something not extremely difficult and something the subsonic dev has in mind?

Thanks

Not sure if this is helpfful but you can wake the pc with 'unified remote' on andriod. There might be a way you could use tasker to start the pc then load the subsonic app. It would only work from the local lan though
