With premium-version you can also stream movies.
What I really want is to have the movies separated from the music.
As for now, you have both music and movies in same list.
Had been nice that when logged in on server, you have 2 links. 1 for music and 1 for movies.

Is there a setting to make the standard-player in pc to play the movies, instead of the flash-player in subsonic-server ?
I tried to watch mkv-files and couldn't choose the subtitle that's within the mkv-file.
But when playing form vlc, I can..

Best regards, JanneN

You can separate you collection into folders and mount the folders in the settings menu. Linux example, /media/Music and /media/Movies that way you can have the option to view All Folders, Movies, or Music.

Subtitles and track selection are my biggest requests. I believe the new version of JWPlayer supports subtitles but has not been integrated into subsonic.

I don't run linux, I use Windows..
But still want them in seperate folder/links..
The best had to been when ya login is to choose from Music or Movies.
As for now, having movies in same list as music is confusing and hard to find a movie...

Same works for windows. Just map the folders on your media drive in the settings tab. (d:\Music and d:\Movies) then you can select either from the drop down at the top of the list and only view what you want.
