Please create an "Album List View" so I (we) don't have to go through the list of Artists first

Uh, it is already there as the 'home' page. By default it comes up "random" but look at the links across the top and one of them is "All" which pages through the albums in alphabetical order.

Not the same. It lists all albums sorted by artists - and in a grid. An album list in the left pane, same format as the artist list (no cover art), would be wonderful - switchable from artist to album with a toggle/button.
