a repository for a synology package

Synology is the first NAS manufacturer, it is very popular.
And this is an obvious place to store all music files (to avoid loosing it).
Unfortunately, there is no package for DSM environment (DSM is the Operating System running on every Synology NAS).
There is not, either, clear and easy tutorial

The latest version of DSM (version 6) just came out, and Subsonic can rely on Java (which exists on DSM, there is now a package which is maintain directly by Synology Inc.)
Subsonic has many advantages compared to the tools provided with DSM and I like it for so long :)

Also I would love to see a repository compatible with DSM to be implement by Subsonic or some good spk packages.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you @alphawave7 but this not really help cause DSM 6 seems to have change too many things
I can't no more start/stop Subsonic on new DSM 6 interface (I tried with subsonic 6 beta 2)
A new package is really wanted :-/

This works for me on my Synology DS125j

https://github.com/ghenry22/Subsonic_Synology

Latest issue I have with DSM 6 is the redirect of port 80 is via Nginx and is causing me nothing but grief to disable. I still have it running, but only on a custom port e.g. 4040

Another issue I have since upgrading to Beta 2 and DSM 6 is my Sonos timesout on a couple of larger folders I have. seems (for me) to be a limit of 148 items in the folder

Just to say too, that when I want to upgrade Subsonic I simply copy across the WAR file

thank you for the link @ozzyrb5
For now, I also update Subsonic copying files (war and jar) to my Synology NAS
But it is really a lesser evil, you can't start / stop / upgrade Subsonic from the dedicated tool on Sylogy DSM :-(
It make the Subsonic solution oscur and too tricky for regular users to choose it, it's a pity for me as I reaaly think that Subsonic is one of the best solution for people to reclaim their music

in fact, subsonic doesn't start on my synology boot
If I try to lauch it by software center, it fails (but finally runs in background...)
SO it's a real mess
I and all Synology users ( I repeat this is the first NAS vendor !!!) need a better support please

It seems that about once/twice a year I go looking for a Synology/Subsonic solution for my large music and audio collection to use with Sonos. Every year I read a dozen forum posts which express the pain of tweaking obscure parameters or the incompatibility of specific devices.

Can't believe there is still no out-of-the-box installable solution!
