Play Count and Last Played from mobile client

It would be great if there was a way for mobile clients to update the play count and last played stats for a song when its played. Doesn't really make sense for those stats to only update when a song is downloaded.

I'd love this functionality, I've only just started exploring Subsonic ( how have I not found this sooner ) and have a client application I'm looking to write, which will want to register playcounts independent of downloads.

I see the API has the "scrobble" command for updating Last.FM, I could imagine a similar command solely for playcount registering.

( however, I also notice playcount information is not returned from the getSong API ). I suspect continuing this thread in the feature-requests forum however might not be best suitable for my particular case.
