Variable speed playback with pitch correction for podcasts

I listen to all my podcasts at 1.7x currently using Pocketcasts. The new version of Dsub just added the ability to speed up podcasts. It would be great to be able to do the same from the web interface.

And on a similar note, is there a way to sync your playback position between Subsonic and a client?
